This performer represents all the yearnings of the heart. Everything that is important and/or good for a person; emotional center.
Ill. The shape derives from a mix of two sources: 1. An urn, where the heart remains after death and burial (Egyptian origin); 2. Borrowed from the anatomic shape of the heart, with large blood vessels...

(< 1996). 'Thinking, reflecting, thinking of something, food for thought'.
Depending on the how the drawing is turned:
- more conservative (1)
- more progressive, belief in progress (2)
Also: 'remember, think through, brood, take into account, consider'. And: 'deepen, self-reflection'.
Ill. This shape developed from the old shape of the performer "Knot": a four-part stylized knot evolved into this five-part shape (more here).
The "Croissant" association was only because of the possible proximity to the performers "Breadcloud" and "Breadbrain" (the former "Big Brain").

Something, that one does not like....but cannot get rid of, therefore stores.
Ill. the shape of the performer "Heart", which is "flat", spatial, with clear and obvious volume.
